The photograph above captures a moment that says a great deal about who I am. I discovered a wooly bear caterpillar and looked on with complete amazement. My grandfather sits in the background, a naturalist to his core. He taught me to notice the world around me and he showed me that nature is full of wonder if we simply take the time to look.

My love of insects has never left me. I'm fascinated by bees, butterflies and the tiny lives that exist among us. What began as curiosity grew into a lifelong appreciation for the intricate relationships that connect plants, insects and people.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master's degree in Nonprofit Management and Public Administration and spent many years working in nonprofit organizations helping people and communities. I found myself continually drawn back to the natural world. The work calling to me most deeply was helping people reconnect with nature through the landscapes that surround them every day.

With more than eighteen years of professional gardening experience and additional training through the University of Massachusetts Pollinator Stewardship Program and the Pollinator Alliance, I help homeowners and businesses create landscapes that are at the same time beautiful and support pollinators and strengthen local ecosystems.

Through Wild Harmony Gardens, I create habitats that invite people to rediscover the living beauty of the natural world. Some of my greatest joys come from witnessing the small but extraordinary moments that unfold when nature is welcomed back: a monarch butterfly laying eggs on milkweed, an unexpected native bee visiting a flower or a once-quiet landscape becoming alive with movement and bird song.

These moments remind me that restoring nature can be both joyful and surprisingly simple. By making room for native plants and the wildlife that depends on them, we can help create a world where pollinators and people thrive together.

Come home to nature.
